We warrant that our tools shall be free from defects in their original workmanship and material and that they will be inspected by us before shipment.

  • All Universal Air Tool & AIRCAT products are rigorously inspected, and performance tested in our factory before shipping to our customers. If a tool develops a performance problem and an inherent defect is found during normal use and service, Universal Air Tool will warrant this tool against defects in workmanship and materials.
  • Wearable parts and products are NOT covered under this warranty. Uncovered items include bearings, contact wheels, hammers, impact mechanism, rotor blades, regulators, valve stems, levers, shrouds, guards, O-rings, seals, gaskets, and other wearable parts.
  • All claimed tools (warranty or non-warranty) must be returned only to the certified and approved repair agent of Universal Air Tool Company Ltd.
  • Carriage and carriage costs needs to be organized through the relevant Universal Air Tool distribution channel. These costs will be reimbursed if the warranty claim is verified by the repair agent up to the value of 10.00 GBP.
  • The original invoice and proof of purchase needs to be sent with the returned tool including a failure report.
  • In cases where there is a question regarding possible defective or abused tools, the repair agent will return them to UAT for a determination.
  • Tools are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship to the original purchaser.
  • These warranties do not apply to items that have been misused, abused, altered in any way, or worn out from use.
  • All rotating parts are not covered by the tool’s warranty, as this is due to application, use and handling.
  • Products used in wrong applications / industries as defined by Universal Air Tool are excluded from this warranty.
  • Tools that are sent for inspection or as a warranty claim due to poor compressed air quality or a missing FRL are not warranty cases and will not be accepted.
  • If the customer uses more than the prescribed operating pressure of 6.2 bar / 90 psi, which leads to a failure of the tool, this will also not be accepted as a warranty claim and will be rejected.
  • After a determination is made, we will credit, replace, or repair the tool at our option. Tools that have been ground, filed, welded, abused, hammered, or modified in any way are not covered under warranty.
  • Universal Air Tool Company Ltd. shall not be liable for any consequential or incidental damages incurred by the distribution channel. Distribution channels sole and exclusive remedy for any loss incurred shall be a refund of the selling price. The exclusive remedy for any product found to be defective under the above warranties is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective product without charge.
  • Universal Air Tool Company Ltd. will not accept any warranty claims if the products have not been used with the recommended accessories for pneumatic air tools (correct size, length and quality of couplings, adapters, extensions bars, sockets, air hose). This also includes damaged accessories which could have an adverse impact on the performance of the tool.
  • In the event of a tool being returned to a repair agent – following inspection no fault is identified, any associated costs will be charged to the relevant distribution channel.
